ABOUT VITOS
Vito’s is an iconic restaurant and lounge located on First Hill. Opened in 1953, it has a history rich in cocktail culture, organized crime and east coast, family style Italian food.In April of 2010, Jeff Scott and Greg Lundgren purchased this Seattle institution and began a major restoration of the space. Their goal is to return Vito’s to the glamor and style of the 1950s, respect its colorful past and set the course for a 21st-century resurrection. Over the years the club has fallen into disrepair and poor alterations. They have replaced the dance floor with a performance space centered around a grand piano, with lounge singers, jazz trios and Lynchian curiosities that will dazzle and entertain into the early morning.

That was fun! I want to do it again. What do you
Continuing it’s four year tradition, Lushy will be performing a Christmas show at the Seattle landmark, Andy’s Diner, on the evening of Saturday, January 17th in the SODO district, intoxicating the walls of the historic rail-car diner with its unique blend of bossa-beats, tiki-tones, and alterna-pop. However this year, though the location is the same, the business name, some exterior and interior physical aesthetics, and the cuisine have changed: Andy’s Diner is now The Orient Express.
Lushy will be performing in an unearthed upstairs section called the BOOM BOOMROOM, which will be equipped with a mini-bar and bartender. A DJ will be keeping the action going in the main bar.
The Orient Express has agreed to keep the kitchen open ’til midnight, serving Chinese and Thai dishes.
And also keeping with tradition, this show is FREE! Lushy’s Christmas gift to you! Two sets are guaranteed, but there’s chat about possibly three. And yes, some Christmas songs will be performed — , ‘Snowflake Surprise’, ‘Heat Miser’, etc.
Lushy. Cocktails. Rail-Cars. Chinese and Thai food. What’s not to love?
It’s been an exciting year… Bumbershoot, Berlin, Barack Obama and all the places, shows and parties in between.
Thanks for listening. We mean it!
~Lushy
