Lushy arrives in Berlin. We made it in time to check out Barack Obama’s speech in Tiergarten yesterday. I have never seen so many people in one place. The news says over 200,000 – here is a photo that shows the crowd – we were well, well back down the boulevard.
Germans that we have talked to don’t seem sad to get rid of Bush and by the turnout here are clearly ready to welcome Barack as a leader.
